Visuals are an important and powerful tool for storytelling. My photos have appeared in print publications like National Geographic Traveler along with a number of online outlets.
I’ve both created and commissioned short videos for social media. For example: Last September, just as attention was beginning to turn to tax legislation, I produced a video that placed the people’s voices front and center in a debate that’s historically been dry and wonky. The video included a timelapse that visualized the funding priorities of regular Americans — and received more than 10,000 views on Facebook within the first 36 hours of release.
